Feeling Hot Hot Hot !!

Good Afternoon, I hope you all are keeping cool??

I finished work a bit earlier today re weather and my car's temperature got up-to 31oc so hot..

When the weather is like this my work is slightly different, I offer garden visits and keeping your pets company for the time agreed, only short walks if dog(s) do not have a garden - live in flats or some of the dogs I walk will not go to the toilet in there back gardens so a short toilet walk. I also try my best to walk very early in the morning when it is cooler and if pet sitting over night a late evening walk.

How to keep your pets cool - some ideas - a cool mat - fans - closing curtains and windows in your home to keep your home cooler - using an air- con unit - some dogs love playing in water - always walk early am or late evening - but I do understand sometime you need to take dogs outside during the day eg if you live in a flat, no garden or dog will not toilet in your back garden.

Changing water often, keeping animals in the shade if outside , maybe move there hutch or make some shade over there hutch.

Maybe keep your cats inside - it maybe cooler for them. A lot of animals do not eat the same amount of food like us during the hot weather, so maybe put down a bit less food, but always loads of cold fresh water. Some cats love drinking running tap water.

I hope you all stay well and safe - I think this Wednesday we may get some rain so cooling down again.
